‘Festival Op de Ring’ Turns A10 Highway Into City‑Wide Celebration
Fifteen‑kilometer car‑free arts and community festival planned
Amsterdam will transform its A10 ring road into a 15‑kilometre car‑free festival zone on June 21, 2025, featuring music, dance, theatre, sports, community activities and even weddings and a run.
Free and open to the public, the event is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors and will also plant 750 large and 7,500 small trees along the route, leaving a living legacy.
Festival Op de Ring has been scripted as a highlight of the anniversary celebrations and reflects the city’s commitment to community engagement and sustainability.
