Health officials in Port Huron have issued a swimming advisory for Holland Beach after tests revealed elevated levels of E.

coli bacteria in the water.

The St. Clair County Health Department is urging the public to avoid entering the water until further notice, citing potential health risks such as gastrointestinal illness and skin infections.

The advisory will remain in effect while additional testing is conducted to determine when conditions are safe for recreational use.
