Maersk and APM Terminals Announce Fully Automated Zero-Emission Terminal Expansion at the Maasvlakte Industrial Zone

Global shipping giant Maersk and its subsidiary APM Terminals have committed over five hundred million euros to expand their fully automated cargo handling facilities at the Maasvlakte extension in Rotterdam. The zero-emission logistics hub will significantly increase the container throughput capacity of the Netherlands while eliminating local industrial carbon emissions.
