Tata Steel Ijmuiden Agrees to Accelerated Timeline for Green Hydrogen Transition Following Government Subsidies

Tata Steel reached a binding agreement with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs to accelerate the transition of its massive Ijmuiden steelworks from coal-powered blast furnaces to green hydrogen-based production, leveraging targeted state subsidies to preserve thousands of manufacturing jobs while drastically reducing the national industrial carbon footprint.
