A strategic joint venture between multinational energy giant Shell and Dutch utility Eneco has successfully secured development rights to construct a massive new offshore wind farm in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. The renewable energy project will significantly expand domestic green energy supply and provide critical zero-carbon electricity for heavy industrial clusters surrounding the Port of Rotterdam.
