Meta Launches AI Chatbot on WhatsApp and Instagram for Dutch Users

Meta has announced the rollout of its AI chatbot, known as Meta AI, for users of WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook in the Netherlands.

The launch, confirmed by Meta on Thursday morning, allows Dutch users to interact with the AI in various messaging formats, enabling a chat experience akin to that of ChatGPT.

Users will be able to initiate discussions with Meta AI within WhatsApp, and the feature can also be used in group chats where multiple participants can view and engage with the chatbot's responses to queries.

This development is part of Meta's broader strategy to enhance user interaction within its platforms by integrating artificial intelligence capabilities.

The introduction of Meta AI reflects an increasing trend among technology companies to integrate conversational AI into messaging services, promoting real-time communication and information retrieval among users.
