European Air Traffic Management Organization Downgrades Flight Forecast Amid Escalating Middle East Tensions

Eurocontrol has cut its 2026 European air traffic growth forecast from two point seven percent down to one point seven percent. The downgrade is directly linked to escalating tensions in the Middle East, which are expected to remove approximately one hundred and ten thousand commercial flights from the European aviation network this year.
