Dutch Government Rules Out Compensation for Businesses Hit by Summer Drought

Infrastructure and Water Management Minister Vincent Karremans has rejected financial compensation for inland shipping operators and agricultural businesses affected by drought, saying existing disaster funds are intended for catastrophic events such as flooding.
